The secondary function of this animal control center is animal adoption.

We place as many animals up for adoption as possible. Adoption potential is limited by the number of animals currently housed, the animal's temperament and the animal's apparent health.

We are unable to exactly gage the health of any shelter animal for many reasons. We do not have a vet on staff to make diagnosis and often the animals are not here long enough to show symptoms of an incubating disease such as parvo or upper respiratory infection. We ask that new adopters take each animal to their vet as soon as possible for a thorough exam.
